FACIAL MASK TIME!
Recipe-
1 ripe banana
1 tablespoon honey (I used Topanga quality raw unfiltered Wildflower Honey)
1/2 capful of lime juice
—-YOU WILL NOT NEED TO USE THE ENTIRE MASK, WRAP AND LEAVE THE LEFT OVER IN THE REFRIGERATOR. IT’S GOOD TO USE FOR 24 HOURS, TRY IT ON A FRIEND FOR GIRLYDAY!
I’m really into facial masks, it’s nature friendly and so good for your skin. It’ll leave you feeling refreshed and your skin just feels and looks amazing. I experiment with different home-made masks because there are no chemicals inside any of them, I’m honestly putting vegetables or fruit on my face, It’s so clever.
Anyway, make sure you chop up the bananas and mix them until they turn very mushy, then add the honey and lime juice. (TIP: It makes it easier to mix into an actual mask if you have the bananas into a mushy mix BEFORE adding in the other ingredients. Also, I prefer using fresh lime but unfortunately I ran out so I used lime juice, which is JUST as effective. Slowly massage the mixture onto your face, avoiding eye and lip contact, however you can put it on your eyebrows(will have them laying down so beautifully and feeling so soft), and leave on for roughly 15 minutes, being that there is lime in the mask you do not want to exceed much over that, too much citrus in your pores can make your skin very dry. Wash off with a really warm/hot wash cloth. Prepare for skin to feel amazing after, I’m really going to use this particular mask once a week. I was vibing with it quite nicely.
When waiting for the 15 minutes to be up, I would recommend opening a window, closing your eyes and thinking positive thoughts, inhaling and exhaling, really enjoying nature. Being that, this is a facial process, it’s best to not be in front of a computer screen or walking around, you really lose the beauty of the process.
WHAT EACH INGREDIENT DOES:
This particular mask is really good for oily skin, The bananas is the main source that helps with the excess of oils, the honey nourishes and softens the skin and the lime peels away the surface cells.
Hope you loved it as much as i did. Ciao!
